Peak to Creek takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Cookson, OK (34885 S Bluetop Rd). Course and logistics
The course follows dirt, gravel, and four-wheel-drive access roads and includes roughly 4,500 feet of elevation change. Multiple water crossings are on course and depth varies with rainfall; seasonal snow or ice is possible. The route will be marked with directional signs and confidence flags, but participants are responsible for knowing the route. A GPX file and live-tracking are recommended. Aid stations provide hydration, calories, and basic first aid; drop bags are transported to aid stations at mile 12.3 and mile 20.3. Trekking poles are allowed. Crew assistance is permitted only at the start/finish area and the 12.3-mile aid station access point. Required while on the grounds: an Oklahoma hunting license, Oklahoma fishing license, or Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Passport (children under 18 are exempt).
