About the race
Organized by Miramichi River Runners in Miramichi, New Brunswick, the Miramichi Cross Country 5km offers a main 5-kilometre race and a 5-kilometre virtual option. The course begins at the Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club and is not certified. The event includes a Youth Series through RunNB programs.
In-person registration is online only; there is no race-day registration. Entry is CAD 10 for all age groups. Virtual participants must complete the distance off-road.
Established in 1984, the event fosters a grassroots, community atmosphere and attracts runners from the region on a September weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
