Event overview
The District 112 FUNd Run and Family Walk takes place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Ravinia Festival main gate. Proceeds provide need-based scholarship opportunities for District 112 families and support other foundation initiatives. The event is rain-or-shine.

Logistics and rules
Packet pick-up is available at Indian Trail School (2075 St. Johns Ave.) in the warehouse/garage building at the east edge of the parking lot on Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 26. All participants must collect race packets at packet pick-up. All participants receive a FUNd Run 2025 dri-fit shirt; shirts are guaranteed for those who register by 9/23/25. Participants may opt out of receiving a shirt.
Dogs are not permitted on the course or Ravinia Festival grounds. Strollers are allowed on the Family Walk but not on the 5K course. Scooters and bikes are not permitted on either course. Parking is available at no cost in the main Ravinia lot (200 Ravinia Park Drive). The 5K course has one water station. The course is open to traffic on the opposite side of the road; participants should not cross the yellow line into oncoming traffic. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Special rates for D112 teachers, military families and students of low socioeconomic status are available; inquire through school administration for details.
