Event details
The New Year 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on January 10, 2026, in Olympia, WA at Heritage Park (5th Ave SW & Water St SW, Olympia, WA 98501). The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The organizer provides finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a Best Costume category, series points, and awards. A contact form is available for questions.
Course details
The courses are described as out-and-back routes with specified segment lengths.

5K & 10K course: a 0.78M segment is used; the out-and-back equals 1.56M. The 5K repeats the out-and-back two times and the 10K repeats it four times.

Half Marathon course: a 1.09M segment is used; the out-and-back equals 3.18M. The Half Marathon repeats the out-and-back six times.
