Event details
The Dirty Santa Beer Mile takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 5x5 Brewery, 801 Bryan Rd Ste 174, Mission, TX 78572. Registration fee is $35 and is open to ages 21 to 99. Registration includes a finisher medal, a commemorative shirt if registered before the shirt deadline (December 7, 2025), and the beers consumed during the race. A separate punch-card ticket for three beers is available for $12 and is not part of the race. Packet pickup is at 5x5 Brewing Co. on December 20, 2025, from 4:30 to 5:25 p.m. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers.
Format and rules
This is the inaugural event. Each participant completes five laps around the brewery building. Before each lap the participant must consume one beer provided by 5x5 (served in a 10 oz cup) in a designated transition area; each cup must be finished before leaving the transition area to begin the next lap. Four starting waves are offered: two waves designated for faster competitors and two mixed waves. Participants must be at least 21 years old. Any participant who vomits before finishing the race must run a maximum of one penalty lap immediately after completing their fifth lap.
