CCTRI Coast Runners Shop January 2026 Triathlon
The event is scheduled for 11 January 2026 at Sandy Beach Reserve, Summerland Point, NSW 2259, Australia. It is organised by the Central Coast Triathlon Club. The club states a child protection commitment and aims to provide a safe environment for participants. Online registration is open for the 2025/26 season; entries close 5.00pm on Saturday 10 January 2026. Race day operations include transition set-up, registration with a compulsory helmet check, race briefings for juniors and other grades, presentations and pack up.
Race formats, ages and points system
CCTRI follows Triathlon Australia age requirements. Distances and age cutoffs (as of Dec 31, 2025) are:
- Sprint (14+): 800m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Aquathon (14+): 800m swim, 5km run
- Aquabike (14+): 800m swim, 20km bike
- Duathlon Mini (14+): 20km bike, 5km run
- A Grade (13+): 400m swim, 16km bike, 4km run
- B Grade (12+): 200m swim, 10km bike, 2km run
- Junior A (10–15): 200m swim, 6km bike, 1km run
- Junior (7–13): 100m swim, 3km bike, 500m run
- Junior Mini (5–6): 50m swim, 1km bike, 500m run
The club reinstates a points system for Summerland Point club races. Medals will be awarded for 1st–3rd male and female in Sprint, A Grade, B Grade, Multisport and Juniors. Eligibility requires club membership and completion of at least three club races; points are awarded by finishing position with a minimum of one point.
