Event details

This is a training run on Saturday, April 11, 2026, organised by Blue Mountains Fitness in Kings Tableland, New South Wales. The session aligns with Ultra Trail Australia (UTA) training plans and is positioned as the end of Week 11 of a 16-week Locker Room race plan. The organisers hold a National Parks and Wildlife Service ECO PASS licence and are insured to run training within the National Park.

Fees listed are AUD 90 for the full course and AUD 85 for the 20 km option.

Course, pacing and logistics

The route starts and finishes at Queen Victoria Hospital and follows the QV Loop of the UTA50/UTA100 course with added sections from other UTA courses. The route passes Kedumba, Leura Creek, Jamison Creek, the helipad, the sewer plant, Federal Pass, Leura Forest, Leura Stairs, Leura Cascades, Wentworth Falls, Hordern Road and Kings Tableland Road. There is an option to bail out at about 20 km at Gordon Falls.

Three pace groups will operate: the MIGHTY TURTLES, a mid-paced group, and the SPEEDY HARES. Participants are asked to carry UTA50/100 mandatory gear, a minimum of 2 litres of water, and enough fuel for around 6-7 hours on foot; some water drops will be provided. Minimum age is 16.
