Event overview

BMF UTA Training is a guided trail training run on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Kings Tableland, New South Wales, Australia. The session is organised by Blue Mountains Fitness in partnership with The Body Mechanic and is aligned with STREEK.RUN UTA base training and event-specific race plans. The run corresponds with the end of Week 11 of the Locker Room 16-week Ultra Trail Australia race plans. The organisers hold an NPWS ECO PASS licence and insurance to operate training within the National Park.

Course and logistics

The main route is the QV Loop of the UTA50/UTA100 course with added sections from other UTA courses to increase distance. The route starts at Queen Victoria Hospital and follows Kedumba to Leura Creek, Jamison Creek, the helipad, the sewer plant, Federal Pass, Leura Forest, Leura Stairs, Leura Cascades, Wentworth Falls, Hordern Road and Kings Tableland Road before returning to Queen Victoria Hospital. There is an option to bail out at about 20 km at Gordon Falls. The course may change because of UTA course updates, park or council closures, landslides, floods or other unforeseen circumstances.
